Sue has lived in Cache Creek since 1997. She has a daughter, Alana, who lives in Cache Creek and a son, Mike, who lives in Kelowna. She previously owned the Cache Creek Husky from 1995 to the fall of 2018 with my husband Dennis, until his death in 2012, and then operated the business with her daughter.
Sue is an active volunteer in the community; Graffiti Days, Lions Club, Ash-Creek TV Society to name a few. She also serve in the Emergency Operations Centre, acting as the volunteer Logistics Chief during flood and fire events.
She states that she was fortunate to return as the only incumbent from previous council and looks forward to seeing through some of the initiatives previously brought forward; finding the fine balance between financial responsibility and service and tax levels, updating our many outdated policies and bylaws, following through on the studies on housing, downtown revitalization, flood planning and continuing to build relationships with our surrounding communities and First Nations.
Sue encourages you to contact her if you have questions or concerns – we can only make changes through communication.
