2026 Village of Cache Creek Auction

Auction Terms and Conditions

The Village of Cache Creek will be holding a public auction to liquidate surplus municipal assets. All items will be sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties or guarantees.


Location of Items 

1153 Trans Canada Highway
Cache Creek, BC
Formerly the Castle Motel / Junctions Coffee building


Viewing Dates

Interested bidders may inspect auction items on the following dates:

February 20 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
February 24 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

No appointments are required during viewing hours.


Auction Date and Registration

Location: Cache Creek Community Hall

Auction Date: March 2
Auction Start Time: 11:00 AM

Registration is required to bid.

Doors open for registration at 10:00 AM.
Registration must be completed on site prior to bidding.
All participants must sign a waiver and release form.


Payment Process

Successful bidders must complete payment at the Village of Cache Creek Office following the conclusion of the auction.

Full payment is required prior to item pickup.
No items will be released without proof of payment.

Accepted payment methods: Cash, Mastercard, Visa, Debit


Item Pickup

At the time of payment, successful bidders must book a scheduled pickup time.

Pickup Dates:
Tuesday, March 3 through Friday, March 6

Pickup Times:
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily

Pickup must occur within the scheduled window.
No items will be held after Friday, March 6 at 3:00 PM.
Items not removed by this deadline may be resold or otherwise disposed of at the Village’s discretion.
Buyers are responsible for their own equipment, labour, and transportation.


Auction Terms

All items are sold as-is, where-is.
No warranties or guarantees are provided.
The Village makes no representation regarding condition or suitability.
The Village reserves the right to refuse any bid or withdraw items from the auction.

Additional On-Site Offer Items

In addition to the listed auction items, there are other surplus materials and items located on site that are not included in the formal auction.


Members of the public may make offers on these items during viewing days.


These items are not part of the live auction process.

Offers will be reviewed and accepted at the discretion of the Village.

Payment for accepted offers must be made in cash on site.


All such items are sold as-is, where-is. No items will be held or stored for later pickup. First come, first served.
